Pant Mawr Farmhouse Cheeses, established in 1983, is run by David, Cynthia and Jason Jennings at their small traditional Welsh hill farm located in the foothills of the Preseli Mountains at Rosebush in Pembrokeshire. They combine their self-taught skills and unique self-developed recipes to produce a range of mouth watering, traditional, hand made cheeses. Pant Mawr Cheeses have been developed using locally produced milk.  All the cheeses are made with vegetarian rennet and pasteurised milk.

Type of Cheese

There are seven cheeses in the Pant Mawr range :-
Caws Cerwyn
This light and creamy cheese has a mellow, nutty and buttery taste.
Caws Preseli
A soft mould-ripened cheese, mildly tangy and fruity with a rich taste.
Oak Smoked Cerwyn
Creamy texture of Cerwyn original, complemented by a delicate smokey tang.
Mature Cerwyn
Similar in texture to Caws Cerwyn, mature Cerwyn is aged for five to six months.
Soft Cows Curd
A sweet unsalted fresh curd cheese, delicate in texture and flavour.
Caws-y-Graig (Goats Milk Cheese)
This hard goats cheese has a slightly crumbly texture and subtle tangy taste.
Soft Goats Curd
Unsalted clean and light, with a sharp tangy after-taste.
