HazRes

Hazard Research and Risk Consultants, Ltd (HazRes) is a newly formed company who specialize in consultancy and testing safety services concerned with flammable, explosive and toxic release hazards. Established in 2004 by Dr Andrew Hallgarth, HazRes was formed to satisfy the market need for an experienced, technologically advanced safety consultancy and testing company in the European and North African markets and beyond. HazRes assists clients in recognising, quantifying and managing hazards relating to flammable and explosive materials. In the early part 2005, HazRes acquired key personnel, equipment and testing facilities of the internationally renowned University of Wales Aberystwyth Centre for Explosion Studies and Shock and Detonation Physics Research Group (Shockwaves), which closed in September 2004.
HazRes and its international strategic partners have highly qualified and experienced consultants and scientists, many of whom are internationally renowned in their fields. HazRes’ corporate structure allows and fosters multi-disciplinary international support for any program or project, providing a complete “one-stop-shop” service to its clients.
