The SA1 Swansea Waterfront development is being implemented in phases where each phase can be economically serviced and completed in a self-contained and sustainable fashion.
Development is already underway with the restoration of landmark historic buildings, provision of key infrastructure works and the construction of new office and residential developments at the western end of the site.
The western boundary is formed by the River Tawe which is linked to the existing Maritime Quarter by two new footbridges. The southern and eastern boundaries are formed by Kings Dock and the sea. The site’s northern boundary is formed by the A483 Fabian Way, the main arterial route into the city from the M4 motorway.
