CyDen was formed in 2002 to exploit the founders’ knowledge of optical therapy in the healthcare and cosmetic fields. The founders of the Company have considerable experience in the medical and cosmetic technology field and have a proven track record of introducing ground-breaking products and new applications.

CyDen has developed and will manufacture a low-cost Intense Flash Lamp (IFLTM) product for the dermatology and skin care markets, specifically hair removal, skin rejuvenation and acne. This product will address the limitations of the currently available technology, particularly the relatively high capital equipment costs that restrict market penetration.  Initially the IFL will be targeted for hair removal, skin rejuvenation and acne.
