Technium Digital is based in the heart of campus at the University of Wales Swansea and overlooks Swansea Bay.  The accommodation, 3,500 sq m on three floors, has one floor housing thirteen incubator units, with the remaining space allocated to specialist research laboratories and development labs geared to supporting young innovative, start-up companies. Technium Digital is linked to the satellite Technium Digital@Sony which is based in Sony’s technology centre at Pencoed, Bridgend. Technium Digital is suitable for knowledge-based businesses specialising in digital technologies and is a partnership between the Welsh Assembly Government, Swansea University, Sony, City & County of Swansea, Agilent Technologies and IBM and is supported by European Union Objective 1 funding.
