2007/08 Winner's Prize

  • £5,000 cash prize donated by Boots Centre for Innovation.
  • £5,000 towards office rental costs at a Technium centre of choice.
  • A Sony Bravia 32" television (donated by SONY UK Technology Centre, Pencoed)
  • £1,000 worth of consultancy support from Capital Law (commercial lawyers)
  • One day of market development consultancy support from University of Wales, Newport Business School

    2007/08 Runner-up Prizes (awarded to 2 entrants)     

  • Free Technium Associate Membership for a year (includes access to Technium facilities, free initial advice from Technium's 32 professional service consultancy partners, invitation to networking events and access to Technium's company members database)

  • £1,000 worth of consultancy support from with Capital Law (commercial lawyers)

  • Opportunity to make a pitch presentation at a 'dry run' panel with GreyMatter UK prior to the final judging panel.

    Support is available to all entrants from the following professional service advisers on request (amount of support from each adviser will vary):-

    Haseltine Lake - European Patent & Trade Mark Attorneys

    GreyMatter UK - Strategy and innovation including marketing & sales

    Business in Focus - Business start-up, development and exit planning support services including PR and grant finding

    Capital Law - commercial legal advice (at their offices in Cardiff)

    Eversheds - commercial legal advice (1.5 hours worth of free support is being offered to a maximum of 20 entrants at their offices in Cardiff)

    Genesis Marketing - marketing consultancy

    University of Wales, Newport Business School - business planning and market development consultancy

    Finance Wales & xénos - access to commercial funding opportunities
