ParcAberporth is situated just 10 minutes from Cardigan which has a population of 4,500, with 30,000 living in the surrounding area - and well over 100,000 people of working age living within a 45 minute drive of the town. The quality of Welsh education is well known, and Cardigan’s high schools have achieved some of the best results in Wales. There is also a well respected further education establishment, Coleg Ceredigion, which has an excellent reputation for teaching vocational as well as academic subjects. The town is just 40 miles from Aberystwyth, home to one of the principal colleges in the University of Wales, with Lampeter University College also nearby.

As you would expect, a wide variety of outdoor pursuits are available locally, from walking, cycling and rock climbing to rugby and golf as well as a host of watersports. One of Wales’s premiere golf courses lies just a mile north of Cardigan. There is also a superbly equipped leisure centre, located next to the high school.
