Wrexham Technical Park - County of Wrexham

Introduction to Wrexham Technical Park

Wrexham Technology Park is a key part of the strategy to diversify the existing dynamic industrial base of the County of Wrexham in North East Wales. Wrexham Technology Park will appeal particularly to companies in the field of health care and medical technology. The Park covers 20.23 hectares (50 acres) of parkland, owned by Wrexham County Council, on the outskirts of Wrexham.

An infrastructure of roads and services has been provided and a flexible planning concept will allow companies to obtain a site which will meet both immediate requirements and long term expansion needs. Particular attention is being paid to maintaining exemplary standards to architectural design and landscape, with low density site coverage. The focal point of the Technology Park is Croesnewydd Hall, a Grade 1 listed country house, and the adjoining Wrexham Medical Institute: a purpose-built Post Graduate Training Centre. Croesnewydd Hall houses a Business Services Agency providing a range of administrative, conference and training facilities, together with an Institute of Health Studies which interfaces with the health sector.
