Gemini Court

Now available for occupation, Gemini Court is an advanced light-manufacturing unit offering some 4273 sqm of manufacturing space and 552 sqm of office space

Gemini Court is located within Phase 1 of the Baglan Energy Park. The building has been positioned on the site to allow 80% expansion of the phase 1 accommodation, including expansion of the vehicular facilities.

The project brief was to develop a factory building that exemplified good design and architectural detailing, set within durably constructed external areas, hard landscaping and vehicular accommodation, thoroughly screened by soft landscaping.

Llewelyn Lewis Sennik were the architects commissioned to design the single-storey steel framed manufacturing facility, including an integral 2-storey office block, associated external works, vehicle parking, trucking yards and storage. The landscape architects department of Neath and Port Talbot Council were commissioned to design the soft landscaping.

Services

The building is serviced by incoming mains water, electricity and gas supplied from the Energy Park infrastructure. These services will be of adequate capacity for the production functions usually associated with light industrial use.

The offices/ancillary area are fully serviced, including a number of energy efficient installations and information systems distribution. A lift has been provided within the offices area to ensure full compliance with disabled access legislation.

The development has been designed and developed acknowledging sustainability issues and incorporating energy saving measures.

The building meets current BREEAM design standards.
